It's a crazy world

When I was recently changing my baby client, I held the talcum powder up to his face, so he could smell it.

He sniffed it and smiled.

After a bit of play, he was lying over my lap and I noticed a white talcum powder stain around his nose that I hadn't seen before. I pointed it out to him, and he said,

"Yes, and most people would rather say they've been snorting coke than it's just talcum powder....that Mummy gave me to smell".

I totally get it, but isn't this world crazy? Getting high on drugs and drinking alcohol is in many social circles, normalised, but playing with Legos and sniffing talcum powder (once) are not.

We should have our priorities right.
