Feeling Little Again

This is a writing by Claudia, a little one that I have met online as a first timer. I got this lovely text by her and wanted, with her consent, to share it with you today. The inner experience of being cared for, even if online, is very personal, and can elicit a full range of emotions and sensations. Claudia says she does not know what buttons I pushed, but from my side I don't feel I push anything but give attention, make myself aware of the energy in the moment and what it's needed, and act from there.

Mummy made me feel little again. That wonderful warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your tummy. That feeling that makes you smile for no reason. I just giggled. In adult life there isn’t enough opportunity to giggle. I don’t know what buttons Mummy pushed to elicit this feeling but she did.

To date I’ve had three online sessions with Mummy. The first an emotional support session which was emotional but I felt so supported. Like many I have been trapped in the binge/purge cycle and Mummy helped me understand this and helped me see a way out. 

The next two sessions have been online, living too far away to easily have in person sessions. Also if I’m honest, originally, I didn’t want an in person session having been let down previously, I wanted to avoid mistakes of the past.

I didn’t know what to expect but my goodness Mummy is just fantastic.

I was immediately put at ease and then I was smiling and couldn’t stop smiling. Writing this makes me smile. Despite it being online I felt so cared for and loved. I hope “loved” is the right word and it isn’t misinterpreted because Mummy has very clear and excellent boundaries but loved is how I felt. 

I very much hope that one day I will be able to actually meet Mummy in person but in the meantime if she will allow it I will hope to continue to have online sessions with her. If you are new to this or even if you are experienced you should absolutely book a session with Mummy. She is so kind and thoughtful and in a nutshell, Mummy.
